Biography

Groove Diggerz were formed in august 2005, they are Rob Savage (Breakin Even) and Reuben Pearce (CPR), both coming from Reading, UK.

Rob has been involved in music from an early age and was the drummer in the band METRO for 4 years, the band had a bit of success securing a deal, recording 1 album and a European tour, when the band split up he turned his attention to dance music, he jetted of to the Canary Islands securing a long DJ residency, this is where he aquired his production skills from Dutch producer Nils Pot. Rob is the main man behind Readings biggest breaks night 'Breakin Even' which has been going for nearly 5 years now and has recently seen the likes of Soul of Man, Lee Coombes, Freestylers, Dreadzone, Barry Ashworth, B.L.I.M, Evil 9, Atomic Hooligan grace its presence, the night is also just about to move to London (watch this space!!)

Reuben was also in bands from an early age and again turned his attention to electronic music a few years ago after discovering the free party scene. He used to run free parties up on the ridgeway with the CPR collective. After Djing at various parties the pair met and found they shared the same vision and love of producing dance floor orientated breaks and beats, they then put a studio together and haven't slept since!!!

Within 3 months of working together they have set up their own label (Even Flow Recordings), had their tracks played by scene stalwarts such as PLUMP DJ's, SOUL of MAN, DRUMMATIC TWINS, JHZ, SKOOL of THOUGHT, BARRY ASHWORTH(Dub Pistols), DIVERTED, ANNIE NIGHTINGALE, PLAZA DE FUNK, and the mighty STEELZAWHEELZ.

Already on their 7th release and 6th remix, the gigs have started to come in thick and fast, the boys have just been asked to do the next SOUL OF MAN remix for the mighty Fingerlickin Records. Its gonna be a Groove Diggin year!!!
